Anti-virus

Do i need a third party anti virus or should i continue to use windows security?

Depends, but most people here think Windows Defender is enough. If you are power user and constantly visits sites that aren't that common, then trying some other free AV or investing to paid software might be a good idea.

i dont normally visit websites that i have never heard about or doesn't have a good rep so i should be fine right?

Yeah, for regular user Defender is enough.
