3700X temp issues

CMOS_BATTERY

ive built a couple custom water loops and I get the basics. Though I'm struggling with my latest, it is a 3700X with a Liquid Devil 5700XT. I'm using a single 360mm radiator and while I my idle temps for the GPU are ok I can usually count on the CPU to be in the high 30s to low 40s. I'm wondering if I'm using too big of a case and excess heat is building from the RAM, HDDs, NVME drive, excreta. The build is in a full tower, a Be Quiet! Silent 801. I have 6 fans, all Noctua NF-A12X25 with the radiator at the front in a push/pull configuration and then a single exhaust fan at the bottom. It may be worth noting my build is inverted with the CPUU at the bottom and GPU at the top. All  water blocks and parts are from EKWB.

mid 40s and even into the 50s is normal idle temps for 3000 and 5000 series CPUs. 100% normal.

Damn, I guess my temps are fine. Thanks for that info. I surely thought I'd get better thermals then my 2700X and my 2080 Ti which are under one loop with aluminum blocks rather than copper. I did read that the 3000 series and beyond was getting a little difficult to draw temps down do to the new chiplet design with some being in the far corners further away from the direct contact of almost all coolers.

The chiplets are actually located on the right side of the IHS if you're looking at it. They point toward the bottom of the board when its slotted in the socket.
