Unsure what RAM to buy for Ryzen 7 5800x

Been recently buying hardware (part for part) and am unsure what Ram to buy for this cpu.

AMD states RAM up to 3200mhz. I read/heard 3600mhz is where it gets interesting. I recently thought about getting a 32gb(16x2) 4000mhz kit because its supposed to be a difference.

Do i have to make it work or would it run at 3600, 4000 from the get go ? Would i run the risk of the RAM not working at 4000mhz ? Cause i do want to be set for the next few years but i also dont want to throw away money with no gain.

3600mhz is fine for the next few years. Ram speeds don't really has much noticeable effect on performance, Capacity is what mostly matters. 32GB should serve you well for the next 5 years at least. 4000mhz isn't too different, i think it is more expense than it is worth.
