Hey, I have a problem with my memory frequency.

Everytime i load XMP1 or XMP2 my pc wont boot.

Ive tried changing the voltage manually and it worked to some extent.

I only managed to get a boot and launch steam before it crashed at 1.43V!

I have the following components:

MSI Meg Ace X570

AMD Ryzen 9 5950x

Hyper X Fury 4x16GB 3733MHZ (HX437C19FB3A/16)

RTX 3070

The RAM is listed on the QVL on MSIs Website.

Does anybody have any recommendations on voltage or what else i can try?

I dont have a lot of experience when it comes to overclocking RAM.

Thank you for your help in advance.

Where do i overlock the cpu memory controller?

Before this kit i had a 2x16gb hyperx 3600mhz kit in which worked perfectly with its xmp profile.

Could you provide some kind of guide or video which explains the steps i am gonna have to take?

thank you

The cpu memory controller supported frequency is 3200mhz. That's advertised with the sale of the Cpu. When you go beyond this frequency, you are overclocking beyond it's supported frequency and this happens automatically when you increase memory frequency beyond 3200mhz.

The steps I listed are as simplified as it gets.

Enable XMP 1 profile.

Set the memory frequency to 3200mhz manually.

Hit F10 save and restart to windblows and test stability.

The issue you have running the 3600mhz or 3733mhz profiles is accompanied by the above and running 4 sticks of ram (and amount). You sacrifice frequency for redundancy.

Is your BIOS up to date, you cut off the build date on the screen
