Hey there! Hoping you all can help, but I am trying to pick a motherboard that I will be using with 7 video cards, they will all be using the EK water block that takes up a single PCI slot each and therefore every PCI slot will be taken.

So my question is, what motherboard will support 7 GPU?  I want to use a motherboard that has 7 PCIE slots.  However, each card can run 2X PCIE lanes.

I have seen 2066 motherboards, but with their lower end CPUs they only support 20 lanes, would that be enough or would we need 40 lanes for example? Ideally I would prefer mainstream platforms, but if 2066 or equivalent is the way to go, then so be it.. Hope you all can help!  Thank you in advance

Can I use this motherboard, what minimum CPU to allow at least  1 or 2X PCIE? https://www.neweggbusiness.com/product/product.aspx?item=9b-13-145-125

Budget (including currency): $1,500 (cheaper desirable)

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Entertainment (for wow factor)

Thanks!
