Bitwarden Password manager

Any one use Bitwarden? Im looking to switch from Lasspass. They seem to want to change the free tier so I can only use it on one type of device, Ether my computers or my mobile devices. 

 

I notice bitwarden offers a Self-host option. Ill take it as the database is stored locally vs on their servers? Do you still get sync across devices if you use the self host option? 

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
