I've recently started a new build and i used 3000mhz corsair ram to start with from my old pc, i recently upgraded to 3600mhz g.skill trident-z royal, as everywhere i have seen, it seems to be the best for money. Since switching to the 5950x, ive had several issues with overclocking ram, has anyone had these sorts of issues and know anything about it? The system seems fine at 3000mhz but will refuse to boot at any higher, i have set D.O.C.P to 3600, and the rest to auto as i have little experince with this

Cpu: ryzen 9 5950x

Mobo: rog crosshair viii hero wifi      (brand new and checked by sellers)

RAM: Trident z royal 32gb, 3600mhz

I had issues with dominator 4000mhz ram but that was down to compatibility with the mobo (i think) so i returned it

Welcome to the forums!!!

Are you on the latest BIOS revision that is not a Beta BIOS??? Stability and memory compatibility will help. Also, are they 2x16GB sticks of 4x8GB sticks??

Ok, was going to suggest trying the system with only 2 sticks instead of 4.
