Over the past few days I've been having an issue with my PC restarting randomly.

Specs -

CPU - Ryzen 7 2700X

GPU - NVIDIA RTX 2070 SUPER

16gb RAM

There's no error message or BSOD and it never says it's restarting or anything, it just stops and reboots. All the fans stay on. My PC is a prebuilt that is less than 2 months old.

I checked Event Viewer and seem to be getting a number or recurring errors before the Critical Error Kernel-Power event 41 "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly."

I ran the SFC scan in CMD and that didn't come back with anything. Could this issue be linked to my PSU? I have a Corsair CV650

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

does it reboot on idle? or under load? or both? Try disabling global C-states in the bios, you might need to dig around for that setting.

It wasn't rebooting on idle, but it wasn't under heavy-load either. I've hardly used my PC today and it's just been idling all day and I've had no problems or errors. Any time it has rebooted has been during using multiple, low-demand programs.

same for me. disabling c-states fixed it for me.
