So i just build a custom wallmounted pc (see pictures below) and i had been running it without a pcie riser cable for a while as i was waiting for it to deliver. The pc was running just fine good temps no weird stutters or anything.

After installing the gpu sideways and mounting it with the riser cable when i tried to boot up the first time the fans of the gpu ramped up to max rpm for a few seconds and then all it slowed down to normal speed.

I didnt think it was anything so i just went on to try some games to see if everything is good.I tried league first as its my main game and all was good but when i tried to play need for speed payback it had insane stutters and it was unplayeable

since i just installed windows that was the only 2 games i have but i dont think its a game problem because it was running fine before

I can only think of 1 problem that the pcie riser isnt a good one.I have this one which is a pcie3 x16 http://www.akasa.com.tw/update.php?tpl=product/product.detail.tpl&no=181&type=Cables&type_sub=PCIe Riser Cables&model=AK-CBPE01-B

so i thought it would be no big deal.

Should i try to find a new riser or are there any bios settings that i cant fiddle with to fix this
