Cpu stuck to cooler

Hi, i need some help.. 

 

My cpu is stuck to the amd.. I have tried every trick i could find.

Dental floss cant get under, left it in alcohol for some time (80%+) it only covered the amd... Tried heating it up with hairdryer, still wouldnt budge a single bit.. Tried skrew driver and razor blade... But there is no Chance for anything to get under it.. It is like the cpu is welded to the thing, i have Tried for 2 days now.. Several hours, and honestly i dont know what Else to do i really hope some of u could help! Thx

If soft enough try to slide it off, if no go use a tool and GENTLY try to get it off! If it fly off pins can and will very likely be bent..

this just happened to me the other day, it ripped my two day old CPU right out of the socket just from unscrewing the cooler. I heard a very weird noise, it must have been the substrate being squeezed in ways it shouldn't be. Luckily no bent pins. 

 

I 2nd the slide/twist method, of course assuming it's out of the socket already. If not, stick a butter knife in between IHS and coldplate and really crank on it.. best of luck

worst case scenario you gotta rip the nerd out, you can try lifting up the socket lever as you remove the cpu with the cooler, and then pry it apart with a credit card or something

I have tried to twist, and slide, but it wont budge

I have teide bouth, that was the first thing i tried, but it wont budge at all, i tried for a long time. when i tried to take the cooler out the cpu was stuck to it.

The twist and slide method was the wery forst thing i tried, a have watched a lot of videos with tips, but i have no luck!

You can straight up pry it off with a screwdriver applying as much force as you want, the thermal paste will give first.

As i said, it feels like a lot of force but the thermal paste will give out way before the cpu substrate or solder on the die/ihs.

Seems like it! Smart trick! Didn't see that one anywhere.
