Warzone settings

  1. 1. What settings for Warzone?

    • Unlocked
      1
    • specific framerate limit (for example 240fps)
      2
    • Vsync
      0
    • other
      0

So I just started playing this recently - I haven't even played online yet - I'm still just trying things out, mostly settings - and now that I tried *almost* every combination of different settings I wonder what is the preferred way people play this - I know most people will play this with unlocked framerates and no Vsync (naturally) but im wondering if there are viable alternatives - see poll.

Thanks.

Depends what you're going for really.

If you're playing to win, the lowest settings (with exception of things like view distance/FOV) and uncapped framerate with no vsync is the best as it gives the best performance and makes it easier to spot enemies as they can't hide in long grass and such when it isn't being rendered.

Personally, I play with whatever settings average me around 120FPS minimum and cap my FPS at 160 as I have a 165Hz FreeSync display, no VSync enabled.

oh there's a FOV setting - I haven't even seen that lol... it's probably on max tho, another thing to check...

Right I did notice it actually feels more responsive with unlocked framerate, it's just I have a 60hz monitor and there's quite some screen tearing - however it's not really as bad as I'd have expected, it's not really distracting weirdly.

The last setting I tried just now was lock it at 120 which is double my refresh rate, so there was basically almost no tearing and it felt really smooth - altho not as 'responsive' and I'm playing at high / ultra 1440p, so that's yet another thing I have to try, makes sense with the grass... I do like the higher resolution a lot though, I guess it obviously makes things easier to see.

well I'm getting a new monitor (165hz) soon ,so I guess I'll try a similar setting than yours when I got it!
