So I'm trying to install drivers cause my screen is all messed up and it says "fail, same or newer version of physX already installed" 

So I try to uninstall the PhysX system software and I cant, I tried control panel and driver sweeper and deleting files from the drives and nothing works, it's really bugging me. It's like a virus I cant get rid of :@

 

-HELP

Soo many games, not enough money to get any.

Why do you want to uninstall PhysX? It's not like it's gonna fix anything.

 

Btw, when did this start? and are you sure your graphics card isn't faulty?

Well Im trying to reinstall my graphics driver due to nvidea control panel and various other nvidia installs not working, but the downloads always fail due to the physX system software install which I cant remove, and If I uncheck it from the install it still tries to install it :S

Soo many games, not enough money to get any.

Fair enough. Did you go into safe-mode of Windows before you ran Driver sweeper /Graphics sweeper?

 

It should work if you are in safe mode. Also if you chose to uninstall the nvidia driver from control panel usually it uninstalls PhysX for you too. (For me anyways)

Yeah, I finally got it working, I have no idea what I did, but on my 17th try it worked! Thanks for help though  :D
