I have always had hand me downs and one very cheap 515.00 gaming pc LOL ( I was broke ) and needed a computer . 

 

Parts I already have for this build .

Current monitor is a veiwsonic 27"1080p about 8 years old .

Corsair Obsidian Series 750D Airflow Edition Full Tower ATX Case

seasonic focus 750 platinum series power supply

1Tb hard drive seagate barracuda 7200 rpm 64mb cache

nzxt fan controller 

Cooler master case fans 3x 120mm

ASUS DVD Burner

 

    Items I will be buying for this build but I am open to suggestions but want to stay in the same budget range .

New monitor Samsung U32J590 32" 3840 x 2160 Ultra HD 4K 

 

MSI MAG X570 TOMAHAWK motherboard

G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 32GB (2 x 16GB)

SAMSUNG 970 EVO M.2 2280 1TB PCIe Gen3

AMD RYZEN 5 3600 6-Core 3.6 GHz

CORSAIR iCUE H150i RGB PRO XT, 360mm Radiator

 

    Main item I need help on is the graphics card please keep it sane not going to spend 2k on a graphics card .

I have looked at the MSI GeForce GTX 1660 Ti but its greek to me when reading and watching videos ( linus ) and

others just not sure if I need better or if this card will be enough .

Graphics card needs to run games like these . Doom , The Witcher , call of duty , GTA ,  Fortnite etc etc

The parts your looking at getting for your first build are a pretty good combination. Finding a graphics card that's not being scalped or OOS will be the hardest part right now though.

Edit: A 1660 Super/Ti will be bad running at 4K. 

USA . But when is 250.00 to much for a motherboard and thats the price on newegg and me not even shopping around . For that matter most of my parts are on the lower end of prices . I could spend double on anything your saying I am overpaying on .

You're spending too much on parts that minimally affect gaming performance and underspending on parts that do, ie that GPU. I'd suggest dropping down to a B550 board, an air cooler, 16GB of ram and a cheaper SSD. Invest the money you save into a better GPU that will game better.
