A320 / B450M

Hey Guys!

I am going to buy a new motherboard for my ryzen 5 2600. Am i able to use a A320 or B450 motherboard with it, without having to update the bios etc.

I just don't want to come in the whole process of updating the bios of a motherboard because it wil frustrate me lmao. Can y'all help?

Ok, first of all, don’t buy a Ryzen 5 2600. It’s not worth the current price and it’s almost 3 years old. 
 

TBH, I would recommend an Intel CPU here. The 10400f is cheaper than the 3600, yet it has identical performance.

False economy though, as that board is garbage. You would want to be spending an extra 40 Euros for something like the B460M Mortar if going with Intel.

 

Also it sounds like the op already owns the R5 2600 ?

So if i would like to stream with a 1660 super and the i5-10400 ( I dont want the F version because i don't want integrated graphics ) is that possible with stable fps?

Well it depends on the games you are playing. If you are trying to stream CB 2077 at 60fps that’s not happening.

 

Also you say that you don’t want intergrated graphics, but only the F versions don’t have intergrated graphics. I’m not say you should get them for the iGPU. I’m only recommending it because it’s a good cpu and the F model is cheaper.

 

Also good luck getting a 1660 super, there isn’t any in stock atm

The motherboard only supports 2933 mhz ram, is that bad for upgrades?
