So I am trying to pick a headset that isn't to pricey and have it narrowed down to 3 and would like any input you guys can offer. So what I am looking for is the all around best headset for the price. I want a nice sounding mic for skype chat, game streaming and so on but also would like the best sound possible in this price range. These are the 3 I picked.

Plantronics GameCon 780 I have seen good reviews on this headset and the mic sounds the best in the tests I have heard.

Func HS-260 I really like the build and have watched a few reviews and think the mic doesn't sound great.

Logitech G930 I would really like to have a wireless headset but this is the only decent one i could find within my budget.

Please give me your feedback, recommendations or whatever you can offer.

There are better solutions using a mic and headphones, but honestly I would do a G930 if your stuck to headsets.

I already have a nice headphones and studio mic. I want a nice all in one solution for when I want to casually game without a boom in my face.

Wireless headsets are nice. The G930 is pretty much your best bet if you want a gaming headset. If wireless capability doesn't matter to you, look into headphones, not headsets.

Creative Aurvana Live! headphones are great for gaming if you use the Headphones option in games. For a microphone, some $10-20 thing from Amazon will do depending on the reviews.

I have a G930 myself and must say that it's an absolute piece of crap. The mic isn't bad, but the audio really is. The logitech software doesn't even work properly half of the time. I think you're better off saving for a bit then getting a better one.

This guy would know better than me.

Like pretty much anyone on this forum will tell you, headsets aren't known for sound quality.
