Hi all,

Recently purchased a pre built to get around the horrible GPU shortage.

- mpg b550 gaming edge wifi

- Ryzen 7 5800X

- RTX 3080
- 32GB ram
- 850W Gold

The problem I am having is after an hour or two of gaming my networking goes down. Network select shows nothing and I have to reset my adapter to get it back up, also happened to my USB which required a hard reset.. My current theory is that although I have enough cooling for my GPU and CPU (Temps are well within normal range) my MOBO is suffering from lack of air flow. Only two case fans are present one blowing from the front directly on the GPU and one exhausting out the back next to my CPU.

I have ordered more fans but was wondering if my theory could be correct or if I should be checking elsewhere?

Note: All drivers have been updated to latest versions.

if you using wifi you shoud check (wifi problems with win 10) it likes to save power disabling devices and not all of them manage wake up properly. same posible with usb too as they have power saving features. if mobo would overheat you shoud expect stability issues and crashing. so i would look to windows power managent

Thanks will look into that think I was assuming because it was a desktop all these power saving features would be off or not even available will have a look.

But a power saving issue wouldnt explain what happened to my USB devices switching off as I doubt that would be an option as it disabled all control of my computer. Great way to save power tho :D

its not in perfomance windows its under device manager/your wifi card properties advanced MIMO power save mode change to no smps. hepped to solve my wifi problems. for usb not sure maybe you use dongles and some hi power drain devices/ from same usb controler. and it hits its limits. like charging phone/tablet external drives...
