Alright so one of my GPU fans broke and it started hitting the shroud making very big noise and I decided to buy a replacement only to find out after removing the shroud that the broken fan had a splitter that connected directly to the fan and I can't replace it as I don't have a splitter anyway I thought of cutting the splitter from the fan and attach the wires to the new fan via the pins will that even work? Or do I need to get a splitter.

I know the easy way is just to get a splitter but it's really hard for me to get a hold of spare parts for gpu in my country and wanted fast solution.

yes you can do that. just connect them directly to the pin will work the same as the splitters.

ideally you would solder the wire to the new fan.
