Hi meatball here and I got a Dell Inspiron 14 and about 3 years ago I did something like delete a file on windows 10 3 years later I’m trying to re install windows 10 and that’s were things got complicated I went to windows website and they told me it’s simple I set the usb up and plugged it in the laptop and I got all the way to the select where to put the os and everywhere I tried I got this message wrong gpt parton style idk what that means I also tried installing lines dident even try

If this is the error that pops up then what you need to do is go into your bios settings and changing the boot option to UEFI

If this is the screen you mean by where to put the os you need to delete a partition to make unallocated space and then select that space for you're OS. If you don't want to delete a partition you can use disk partion in windows to resize a partition for os so that you dont loose data.
