new passive speakers

im currently rocking a technics su-x933 with 2 sb-hd550 technics speakers. It's a nice little set up but id like to get some new speakers because they get a little distorted when the volume and bass are high. If you've got any recommendations for speakers that can get good volume with some nice bass and super bass id more than appreciate to hear them.
