Hello everyone!

So i built myself a new gaming pc 3 months ago and while I am paying games the pc shuts down instantly (no BSOD) and starts automatically. I started noticing when exactly it is shutting down, It does that when the GPU isn't that loaded especially in warzone while connecting for a match or in league (generally not a demanding game). I tried soo many things but none of them worked. Help would be highly appreciated !!

Specs:

GPU: PowerColor RX 580 8GB

CPU: I5-10400f with a better cooler

MB: Z490-a pro

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x8 3200mhz

PSU: Kolink KL-850M although it says 850 wats I believe its 750w

Note: The PC isn't overheating. GPU and CPU don't go over 60 most of the time. Max I've seen it go to 70 degrees Celsius

This could be anything from software related issues to hardware related issues. Start by checking your cables connected into your motherboard, replug all of them. The reason why i'm asking you to do this is because for ex. the front panel power button could be connected poorly and it could be acting like you're pressing it to power the pc off, and therefore it could be the reason why its turning right back on.

Already checked the cables. Everything is a OK.

And as i said it only shuts off while playing a non demanding game and gpu isn't loaded or in loading screens.

Oh alright.. So it just straight up turns off and then turns on again and you're back on the desktop? Try crashing it again and after you're back at the desktop, open up Event Viewer and check for errors. (It should be marked with a red exclamation mark icon thingy)

Randomized PC restarts usually signalize a faulty PSU, even though Kolink PSU's are good, you could've just had bad luck, which is always very unfortunate. Do you happen to have a PSU to test this to confirm this? Or do you know someone that has an extra PSU to test with? If you don't, you can always bring it to a shop and they will test it for you there for a couple of BGN. (Depending in which area you live).

Edit: I just remembered that this sort of stuff can also be easily caused by a faulty PSU cable or a poorly connected one. So if you have another PSU cable lying around somewhere, i'd suggest testing that out first. If you don't then the only thing to do is to just simply check the cable and if its connected correctly.

Edit2: Do you have XMP enabled?

It really could be the PSU. It's the only thing I haven't tested except the CPU. I can get a new PSU next weekend.

+ I changed my old GPU (RX 580 4GB) to the 8GB one. Seems its not the GPU

Great.. i hope i helped out.
