Hi recently bought a z370 tuf gaming plus motherboard and I cant get 2 put of 4 slots to work all slots are detected in the bios with no known faults and I have check all sticks of ram and all work I used my system to check with as this board was for friend as he needed a upgrade after 5 years. If anyone has a suggestion as I've cleaned the ram and slots and tried ever configuration even with my own ram

Sounds like a motherboard issue, if the board is still under warranty you should RMA it ASAP.

I would If I didn't get it second hand and been having trouble contacting the seller as I seen the same board but it had two busted slots and it wasnt the one I got and I figured it was the motherboards slots but its weird when happens cause mouse and monitor wouldnt power but other peripherals would but 2 out 4 isnt bad it just involves getting a 16gb kit as duel channel works

If it isn't the dimm slots, it's the memory but you've already tested that. So I'd hope and pray the seller contacts you back and is willing to help or do whatever they can. It sounds like you've already done pretty much as much as you can with testing the RAM in another system and etc.

If the seller doesn't get back to you, I'd recommend contacting Asus, because a lot of times companies will replace things that are second hand as long as their under warranty.

I'll see what they say but my mate is happy with it right now it's not as if it doesn't work it's just the fact of a waste of quad channel and I even swapped a 8gb dimm for one of his 4 4gb dimms so he can at least have 12 gb so games dont crash
