Does anyone have any idea how I can stop dwm.exe from crashing? Here is the most recent error dump for the event viewer.

A few things could be happening here and it could be attributed to; bad display driver, bad windows install, corrupted windows install

 

Have you updated your GPU driver recently? If so, DDU and install an older driver than the current version

Yeah I installed the latest Studio drivers a few days ago. I'll give that a go.

I also see a few people having the issue while using Series X xbox controllers which I also use.

I'd try the DDU and reinstall first, that's weird that the controller would cause that kind of issue lol

It is weird but stranger things have happened and I've seen enough reports of people saying not using the controller was fixing it... so must be something to it.
