Stuttering and freezing when playing Fortnite

Hi,

 

So I've been playing Fortnite and doing some testing and it seems no matter what settings I use (low & high)  my game freezes for 2 seconds.

 

Also get terrible frame drops from 120 to 50 when rotating the camera. 

 

My Specs:

i7 4790k

Nvidia 980ti 6 GB

16GB of Ram

 

I will provide more information once I get home about temps and processes running in the background.

 

Any help on this would be great.

I've noticed the same on Fortnite this last day or two.

Same as you, with stuttering and large frame drops.

It does seem to improve the longer I play, what about you?

 

Usually, when it has happened in the past, it goes back to normal in a few days, and I don't know if there's much you can do in the meantime.

 

So, hopefully, you'll find it suddenly goes back to normal.
