You do not want to upgrade to support 5000 series because then your 1600 will not post.

If everything is working as it should, leave the bios alone and don't bother flashing it.

If you REALLY want to flash the bios, I will look and recommend one, but it probably won't change the performance of your rig.

I also have an open ticket with gigabyte( over week now 😣) for the same inquiry. I'll let you know what their response is.

Don't hold your breath. I doubt you will ever hear back from Gigabyte... Sadly. I like their hardware, but I've had trash tier experience with their support side. 😧

I didn't want to suggest the Agesa 1.0.8.0 which was the first release to support Ryzen 5000 processors. This bios was even released before the chips.

I fear your loss of support on your first Gen chip, so I suggested F35 instead to play it safe.

1 reason is because of the above, the other is because there are no further bios updates that pertain to system performance with your current chip. So it might just be useless to update beyond F53.

I do have an Athlon 200ge, which will be supported by ALL bios revisions that I could send you if you updated and lost the 1600 support. But I have recently sent it to a friend over in NY to flash his board so I won't be able to help if I make the mistake of saying F40 or higher.

Well I dont even need to update the bios. Mobo came with f51.

Everything is so much better with this mobo compared to the last.

3.7ghz at 1.237v 57c under load.

No more funky $#*% with ram. Xmp works out of the box.

Looks great for the GFs rebuild
