Bios update

So I bought a pc for 10 euros and it came with an core 2 duo e6750 on an asus p5e and I bought an q9505 and it's on the supported cpu list but it isn't working so I'm guessing the bios was never updated and I kinda know how to do it but not really any help I'll appreciate
