I just bought 2 new sets of 8gb ddr3 ram one is a set of 2x 4gb corsair vengeance ddr3 and the other set is a set of 2x 4gb Kingston hyper X ddr3 and I just went to test the ram in a spare rig I have here so I took out the 2x 4gb of ddr3 g skill ares ram and replaced it with the new set of corsair ram I got but when I went to boot the pc made 3 loud beeps and then the fan went to full speed and really loud and nothing showed on screen so I took out that ram and put in the other set of new ram I got and the same thing happened but when I put back in my normal g skill ram it booted up fine again.

The system I'm trying to test it in has these parts:

Hp motherboard and power supply

Core i5 3470

Gtx 1050ti

Someone please tell me what is wrong

Make sure to clear your CMOS and remove any unnecessary system components before you start swapping things. You want the board stripped down to the bear minimum for testing, then test each stick one at a time on the board. That is the safest and easiest way to validate the components.

I did that but it still doesnt work 😞 does this mean the ram might be dead

Possible, though it would be strange to have that many dead sticks of RAM.

That's what I was thinking, i also thought maybe it's the hp motherboard rejecting it cause the hp motherboards are pretty proprietary and have to have hp power supplies and also reject some graphics cards sometimes

OEM boards are actually fairly well known for being temperamental about what type of RAM they'll take. So that is very possible as well.
