PSU and Mobo Compatability.

Go to solution Solved by WhitetailAni,

20+4 = 24.

It's 20+4 for backwards compatibility.

Hey guys, It's about that time for me again. I want to build a new PC.

I want to know if

That PSU and

https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16813157863?Item=N82E16813157863

This MOBO will work.

I see that the MOBO has a 1 x 24-pin ATX Power Connector

But the PSU is an ATX 12v with a 20+4 pin connector.

I would assume it works but I haven't built a PC in over 5 years so I'm coming to you guys! Thanks in advance!

Yeah that will work, a lot of PSU have a 20+4 but it goes to a 24pin on the other end of the cable.
