GPU market?

I REALLY wanna upgrade my 1660 SUPER but I've been putting it on the back burner since the market blew up. Prices have been ALL over the place every time I looked. Last I checked 3k series were going for upwards of $1000 (seems a bit much lol). I want to at least break into the RTX series (meaning I'd be happy with a 2k series if need be). What is a FAIR price for an RTX card and what am I looking at REALISTICALLY for an RTX card?

 

Trying to set a goal for the near future.

The used GPU market is crazy

 

i bought a Asus Strix 1070ti in 2018 for £250 - sold in a few months back for... £250 when i  bought a 3070 FE(launch day) was very lucky.

I sold a 2070 super FE for £410 last month - (i've seen them go for £500) when i managed to get a 3060ti FE.
