Are 2in1 notebooks easier to break over time (even with good treatment)?

Hello guys, could u help me? My friend is concerned, if he will not break his new 2in1 notebook because of the fact, that it can move monitor in 360°. Thanks.

My girlfriend has had that laptop for a few months now, so far the hinge feels just like new still.

She has the 4500u with 8gb of ram (i think, could be 16, cant remember) and 500gb ssd.

Highly recommend it for everyday use.
