I have a retail Windows 7 Home premium key, and I recently installed Windows and activated it, everything went fine.  Just today I opened up my computer and saw "29 Days left to activate" So I thought I might just have to activate it, so I did.  It didn't say this key is being used or anything... it just said this key cannot be used on this product.  I'm really confused... I tried entering it again and again and again. What can I do?

I guess I could, But Microsoft has been so mean to me before, last time I had a problem with a non-retail key so I called them and they just refused to help me.   So I bought a retail license and 3-4 years later it just stops working.  I think I'll just switch back to linux.  Thanks anyway :(

Did you use this product key on another machine in the past? Even changing your motherboard has been known to cause windows to revoke your license key.
