Intel 7500 vs 5930k

I just upgraded my PC from the 5930k to the 10700K, so now I have an X99 board and CPU I'm not using. My wife currently has an i5 7500 and I'm thinking about swapping her board and CPU for my x99/5930k. Her GPU is a 1080ti.

Is this worth doing?

Yeah. It will allow any modern game to run without issue where a simple quad core i5 is not enough sure single core performance is a bit worse but really the 5930k is better overall that and you can oc the 5930k if needed/wanted.

5930k - 4/4 chips are really just inadequate for modern games and the 7500 will struggle in anything cpu intensive
