No Video Signal When Installing Windows 10

jacobbett

So I just built a new pc (5600x, 3070, msi mag b550) and it booted into the bios fine, and it let me enter a product key and start the windows install. 30 seconds into the install however and i lose video input. I tried switching from the gpu to the mobo hdmi port but same deal. I tried turning the pc on and off and tried removing the flash drive with the media intsaller but there is still no signal. What can I do to fix this?

Make sure you are connected to the GPU and not to the motherboard, there is no Graphics chip connected on there, so nothing in general will display. Can you still boot into BIOS?
