Sparkly Dots on Screen ?

Over the past three days since installing GTA 5 .. ocasionally my screen would go black then back on again within a second or two.

This morning it's constantly going black and then coming back on again.

So I switched my HDMI cable, and changed to input 1 on my TV ( previously it was input 3 )

It's completely stopped going black but I can occasionally see white sparkly dots around the edges of colourful images when there's a black background.

3060ti GPU

Any idea s?

 

After rebooting the PC and repositioning the HDMI cable. It's completely stopped sparkling on the desktop screen, except on Corsairs ICUE software GUI and Ryzen master

Just changed the HDMI cable for a brand new unused one and now seems ok

If the HDMI cable has been changed and that seems to have fixed it, it was probably just that going bad. If it comes back, then it could be something else (GPU or TV type things).

why do you have a 3060 ti with a tv?

So I can game in 4k UHD.

It's an excellent LG tv and works great now i've switched the HDMi cable

GTA 5 ( 2160p @ 60fps )
CS GO ( 2160p @ about 200 fps )
Forza Motorsport at 2160p
Destiny 2 ( 2160p @ 60fps )

I meant like above 100, not console fps,

You can't get above 60FPS on most games regardless of hardware
