PC upgrade & server build feedback

Budget (including currency): 10 000 NOK (~1150 USD)

Country: Norway

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:

Current computer for gaming is used for games, streaming and the like / Planned homeserver will be used for watching movies over the cloud, cloud storage and game server hosting.

Some games I'm planning to host, preferabely minimum two server at a time if needed:

ArmA 3

Minecraft

Rust

Other than that, I want the system to handle running most of the time.

The gaming rig will be running on 1080p 60Hz screens, mostly games similar to Doom Eternal, Hitman 2 and Battlefront 2 in quality.

Other details

My plan is to: Take older parts from my gaming rig, use those in building up a homeserver for the beforementioned uses and then upgrading the parts that have been moved from the gaming rig. I was originally planning to keep it all in the gaming rig and building the server from scratch but came to the conclusion that I might as well take it all at once when I'm first at it.

I have gotten some questions why I'd build a PC to use as a server and not just a corporate level server or the like, but the reason is really that I find computers a lot easier to understand, and after much back and forth I've found it way easier to do it this way at least the first time around. Should I find out later on I want a "proper" server I'll always find a use for the PC server.

PC Build

I currently have a gaming computer with the following components, I will be putting the upgrade I'm planning to do in parentheses with red text, the rest will stay as is for now. Parts that will be moved to the server will be in blue.

I'm not including storage space in the gaming rig as it'll stay,

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 8GB

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X (AMD Ryzen 5 3600)

Ram: Unsure of brand, 8x2 GB Sticks (Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2x16 GB 3200 MHz))

MOBO: MSI B450 Gaming Plus (MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk) (is this a good mobo?)

PSU: Cooler Master MasterWatt 550W Bronze

Case: Phanteks Eclipse P600S

Case I have from before.

Server Build

All parts that aren't blue will be purchased, excluding the case that I have from before.

Blue components are taken from the gaming PC.

GPU: XFX 590 Fatboy (This is not being purchased, but I had it in "storage")

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X

Ram: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2x16 GB 3200 MHz)

SSD: Kingston SSDNow 480 GB

HDD: Seagate IronWolf 4 TB (1x, to start with)

MOBO: MSI B450 Gaming Plus

PSU: Corsair RM550X Gold (since the machine will be powered on for most of the time)

Case: Fractal Design Define C

* In the future I'll be purchasing RAID as a security measure.

Conclusion

I'm looking for any feedback on these upgrades and builds, does it sound like a decent setup? the motherboard for the rig is the one I've been the most unsure about but I came to the conclusion it might be the most feasible.

I have a seperate question, if any can answer it. Is it possible to do a workaround with only a single displayport and wanting to play VR without having to disconnect the monitor all the time to plug the headset in?

Thank you for all help! If any more information I've forgotten is necessary I'll add it ASAP.

Why not a zen3 cpu like a 5600x?

I’m already stretching my budget, and it’s another 100+ bucks sadly. ebay and Amazon aren’t an option either due to shipping costs.
