Budget (including currency): 3000 Dollar / 2500 Euro

Country: Sweden

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: FPS games, Racing games, also games like Far Cry and Cyberpunk 2077

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Completely new PC.

I want to build a new computer and is looking to do so pretty soon. I want to have a Ryzen processor and the gpu doesn't matter but I want a powerful one. It would be nice if you can send me a pcpartpicker list. I have tried to assemble a list my self but without great success. So I figured maybe someone that has more know lade could do a better job.

Im going to buy a new main monitor when the computer is finished right now I have a decent AOC but I want to upgrade to 4k and 144 hz.

That is far enough under budget that I would consider an SSD rather than HDD for bulk storage. Drive specified is not a bad choice at all but that is one area that could easily be bumped up a little at not a great expense

 

Whilst 4K can look great I would hold fire on that till you can see the actual performance of your build, you may find a 1440 wide would be a better fit.

I mean not much need to spend more. No significant return in the cost investment. But yeah OP could go for mass SSD storage, maybe something like a WD SN750 for OS.

Again maybe not a real benefit but I would say 5900X inventory does seem to be better than 5800X in the UK at least so it may turn out to be the more practical option

An AIO wouldn't necessarily improve airflow and it may even reduce it as the fans on it would be pushing through a rad. It can be better for acoustics and depending on the CPU cooler you are replacing may be better performance too but you would need to check out how the combination of case fans and cooler work together to be sure as they don't perform in isolation.
