PC doesn't boot (RAID Volumes: None defined)

Hansueli

Hi.

On this nice day, my PC has decided to not boot anymore.

  • The PC starts, I hear the fans but no display
  • I checked all cables and the monitor. I have a mac on this monitor and it works just fine.
  • I have a ASUS ROG G20
  • I reset the CMOS via the CLRTC Pin
  • I can't get to the motherboard battery because it's a mini-pc

Now when I restart the pc I come to this screen:

Then if i hit ctrl-I I come to this screen:

I don't understand anything.

I never had a RAI on this PC. Why does it want to have a RAID volume?

  • There is only Option 1 & 6 available in the upper main menu. All Other options are unavailable.
  • I don't want to create a RAID volume. I just want the dang pc to boot as he had for years.
  • I have no clue how to enter BIOS. F2 nothing. del nothing

I'm a Mac user and use my pc only for gaming. I have no clue what to do.

Can you help me out?

Thanks 😘

It doesn't want any, just telling you there's none. Should just continue on its own when you don't press Ctrl-I.

If you never had this screen before then go in the BIOS and switch the storage controller from RAID to AHCI.

  • I don't understand how to get to the bios

Usually DEL or F2 before that screen appears
