I'm not the great great wizard of computers,

But try this.

go into windows

and press win+r and type cmd.

Then enter inc the CMD window "wmic memphysical get maxcapacity"

and press enter. You should now see the maximum ram capacity that

your motherboard supports in bytes,

make sure to convert it

to GB if you do not know.

If the number more than your 4 sticks

of 8gb ram (32 GB) Then you're in good luck.

If it's much less that number then you're bad luck.

Most pc's have a max of 16 gb ram

capacity.

Note, Do not take it seriously i'm not completely sure about this "Here it goes..":

Some motherboards

may accept the ram but with

half the capacity Eg: 4gb less the the current 8gb ram inserted (if only one 8gb stick is inserted)

Others may not  even recognize it at all.

Uh... what?
Most motherboards have a max of 64 or 128GB capacity for DDR4.

Even higher on LGA3647 Xeons/sTRX4 Threadripper.

16GB was probably the limit in DDR2 days.

@ragnarok0273

Sorry I'm not a wizard of computers...

I was just assuming that most computers have that capacity

beacuse my maximum on my computer is 16 GB.

Also take in acknowledgement.

That most office computers/home Do not

require a very large amount of maximum capacity beacuse technically

the computer is not intended to

to play graphic intensive games,

just mainly for youtube, surfing the web etc..

Technically you can just upgrade the computer

to play modern games and that kinda stuff,

but i do not know if manufactures

make their products "upgradable"

And not just have almost have max  from

current memory you have. let say you have 4 gb and the max is 1 gb more.. basically, it have no effect
