Omen laptop?

Hey guys, I need help deciding on what laptop I should buy. I'm looking at this one right now. I have student discount that gets me it for about 945. What are some other good gaming laptops under 1000?

At exactly $1000 it's not the cheapest I've seen this laptop, and I would still recommend spending another $100 to upgrade the ram yourself.

I have another laptop that I'm planning on switching the ram out with. I also have a 500gb m.2 that im adding in there.

Even less of a reason to get this laptop then, as you're paying $50-150 more than what I would consider the cheapest option if you were to provide your own storage and ram.
