SSD Driver controller error when playing games.

Specs:
Windows 10 Pro 19042.
Mobo: Gigabyte X570 I Aorus Pro Wifi - Bios F30
SSD: Intel 660p 2TB - Firmware 004C.
RAM: 32GB Corsair CMK32GX4M2D3200C16 (listed on the mobo QVL)
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER WINDFORCE OC 3X 8GB
PSU: Corsair SF 600 Platinum - Replacement from Corsair due to the recall.

Hi, I'm getting frequent BSOD, which I believe is being caused by either the SSD or the mobo. It only seems to occur when playing games.

 

I have recently sent off my SSD and received a new one which I restored using a backup of the previous SSD. It seemed fine for a couple of weeks but the problems have started occurring again. I cannot get the minidump files as the SSD cannot be written to when this occurs. When the PC restarts the boot device isn't found and isn't displayed within the BIOS. I have to cycle power to the PSU for it to display again.

I have tried both M.2 slots upon the mobo but the same this occurs.

 

I also have a USB SSD with Windows installed upon it, running Windows from this seems fine and I haven't experienced any issues running from the external drive.

When running games from the internal M.2 SSD and Windows from the USB SSD I still have games crash but no BSOD. Within the Event Viewer I have an error from "stornvme" which states "The driver detected a controller error on \Device\RaidPort3." as well as a bunch of these ""The IO operation at logical block address 0x0 for Disk 1 (PDO name: \Device\00000038) failed due to a hardware error."

 

Here's what I've tried without anything being reported / obviously broken:

Windows Memory Diagnostic - Standard test.

MemTest86.

Windows System File Checker.

The SSD tests within Intel Memory and Storage Tool.

OCCT using the "Power" test for an hour.

 

I've updated the intel nvme drivers and the AMD chipset drivers to the latest versions.
