SSD Read/Write extremely slow, on only one system.

Sofas

The issue in question is this: My pc will only transfer files at almost exactly 200Mbps (25MBps), and no faster. It is confirmed to be storage related, as my network speedtests are limited to this exact same value, despite having 1Gbp/s Fiber internet. (I have full speeds on other devices)
This issue has persisted after:

  • Secure erasing
  • Completely updated bios
  • Reset bios settings
  • A full reinstall of Windows 10
  • Plug SSD into different SATA 6Gbp/s ports
  • Swapped SATA cables

The primary drive I use is a WD Blue SATA 2.5" drive (Model WDS500G), but this limit applies to ANY SSD connected to the MOBO, as I have also tried with a Samsung 860 Evo. I have confirmed both SSDs are non-faulty in a separate PC, in which both drives operate at expected speeds. Every other part I can think of that would affect SSD speeds, is non-faulty as far as I can tell. The SATA cables are also fine and work at full speeds.

I am at my wits end here, and I cannot fathom what could possibly be causing this issue. Hopefully someone much smarter than myself can assist.

Attached are AS SSD benchmark, and internet speed test.

Edit: Forgot to mention specs

CPU: Intel i5 6600k @4.2Ghz

Mobo: Asus Z170-A

GPU: EVGA GTX 1070 FTW Edition

SSD(s): WD Blue WDS500G, Samsung 860 Evo

PSU: EVGA NEX650G 650W

What MoBo are you using?

And did you try checking with the MoBo manufacturer? As this could be a faulty piece

My MoBo has not had a firmware update in years, and it is the current version. All Bios settings are default, other than XMP on my Ram, and a slight stable OC on my CPU.

Bump. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

Solution was to disable XMP in bios. Appears to have been a memory issue, topic can be closed.
