I am having this really weird issue with my pc. Today i finally got my hands on a 3080 msi gaming x trio and after I installed it I noticed something. When I start a triple a game my CPU that I got 5 months ago drops to the base speed and a minute later the performance drops to under 1ghz. I checked voltage and there isn't an issue with that. The main issue I see online is that my CPU is getting to hot. In this case that's not the issue since this happens when I'm at 55 degrees Celsius and only while playing video games(so if I'm at 55 degrees idle the speed wont drop). The only solution I found so far is using throttle stop to turn off my turbo clock and that seems to be working(this also means I cant go above 3.7ghz). But I want to find the actual issue and not handicap my CPU. I have tried this with a few games and the only game this doesn't happen with is Minecraft.

Specs

Msi 3080 gaming x trio

Intel i9 10900kf

Asus z490 e gaming

Corsair RM 850x

XPG GAMMIX 2TB S11 NVMe

Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 2400 MHz DDR4 (4x4gb) (upgrading to trident z 4x8Gb)

corsair h100i duel radiator

Hopefully people will see this

Case?
Check your pump plugged in the pump header and not the cpu fan and check the RPM under synthetic load with iCue
