I had to get another keyboard for my laptop and just received the replacement keyboard today. When i unboxed, i noticed the corner of the keyboard was bent. Not extremely bad, but bad enough to notice. So i bent it back into place seeing as the keyboard is floppy and bendable anyway and nothing looked cracked. Only problem was the Numpad Enter key was uneven. So thinking nothing of it i plug it into my laptop and assemble it back together and boot windows and lights worked and was able to change colors. But then soon found out that certain keys wouldn't work. So i restart and when it booted again more keys worked, but some keys that worked before didnt work this time. some keys are even double typing. So after about 4 restarts, with different sets of keys working each time, i decided i cannot use this new keyboard, so i had to put the old on back in since at this point it has more keys that work and wasnt bipolar with the keys lol. The reason i got it was because the model number matched. The P/N number matched. The only thing that didnt match 100% was the DS/N which had a 99% match just 3 digit changes. I knew that was different when i bought it but was told that the DS/N doesnt matter. Could i have been told wrong? Was it just incompatible? Or was it damaged from packaging?
