Hey guys, I am confused between these 3 CPU's which one should I buy?

1. Ryzen 9 3900xt

2. Ryzen 7 5800x

3. Intel i9 10900k

Which provides me good gaming and overall experience for atleast for upcoming 5yrs. Btw these cpu's are somewhere around 550$. Unfortunately I can't afford R95900x because it is costing a whooping 830$ in india...

Please help me get through this

i9 is faster, it's just a little slower than 5950x in gaming and whole lot faster than both 5800x and 3900xt due to better single core performance

But i9 doesn't have pcie gen 4 support. Which mostly matters in the long run

I would go 5800X, as it is the most modern processor of all and has tall the latest features. Also features a good mixture of cores and ipc.

5600x is a good cpu but why would I have a 6 core cpu when I can get 12 core cpu at the same time.

When today modern games require atleast 6 cores. 12 cores will be more future proof.

hardly any games make use of 6 cores at present, yes they will in the future but buy the time they do you probably will be due an upgrade by anyway.

you can only "future" proof so much

oh and the 5800x you listed is 8 cores

and more cores doesn't always mean better performance, IPC matter a lot

the 5600x beats the 3900XT and 10900k in gaming benchmarks
