First build... will it work?

FunkyPanda

Budget (including currency): about $3000 USD

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Livestream for venue

Other details:  Currently using a friend's old mining pc (duo core, a few 2-4 GB video cards). CPU has been our biggest bottleneck for our streaming software. Using OBS right now with Restream. I'm not too sure how the camera routing works (that's someone else's job, I mix sound). We're using a camlink dongle right now to take in footage and have some hdmi's coming off of separate gpu's to run: 1 projector, 2 monitor tv's, and running the computer's monitor off the motherboard.

Here's my current PCpartpicker list:

I'm new to building, so some of this may be rhetorical as I read up more.

My biggest questions are:

 - how do i know if the parts will fit in the case together?

 - Is it worth waiting for new hardware availability? (Ryzen 5000 series &/or Nvidia 3000 series)   ----- We're trying to futureproof our build

 - The computer will be in the same room I mix sound. Should I worry about how loud the PC will be? and does that affect what parts I pick?

Replace the 1000W power supply with a 750W power supply. You really don't need 1000W, even with an RTX 3090, and it's just paying more. It's a good build for the other parts. My only other advice would the the AF120 fans in the 4000D. While they will work, the newer and better ML120 fans will provide better airflow behind a panel and dust filter than those AF fans, while creating less noise.

Def wait. That 5700XT is literally almost 2.5x msrp.

The CPU is not good for the price. Ryzen 7 5800x is better.

No the 5950x is really good for the type of work the OP is doing i.e. Sound Mixing. It has double the cores than a 5800x

This is a great build overall but I suggest a D15 instead of a liquid cooler.

I will recommend an NHu12s (or an NHd15 (maybe)) for your PC build. Quote or @ me @Prodigy_Smit for me to see your replies.

I like this build. How much trouble is it to install/maintain a watercooling loop? In what cases is it worthwhile?

Side note: we're considering overpaying for a graphics card just to have our final build sooner, but I'm keeping an eye on my local BestBuy to hopefully get a video card and CPU at MSRP.

I just don't like AIOs too many point of failure(pump, leaks, etc.). If you are going with an AIO the main reason would be aesthetics since the D15 matches or out performs most water coolers.
