My wife has been ping me about issues on her bluetooth on her windows 10 laptop, an old Lenovo Flex 14.

  1. Her Microsoft Sculptor Mouse appears to disconnect sometimes and require a reboot to recover.
  2. Sometimes when she turns on her bluetooth headset (an Anker Q30), the mouse disconnects. This has happened a few times, the last time, I recover by starting the Bluetooth user Service.

To try to fix the issue, I have:

  1. Install the latest drivers from Intel.
  2. Turn off the ability of the bluetooth to shutdown the bluetooth as part of power management.
  3. Attempt to set the Bluetooth service to automatically start. However, the Bluetooth service could not be automatically started. Setting it to auto result in a 87 parameter error.

What do you think is going on here?
