Minecraft lagging?

Go to solution Solved by AdvocateOfNyx,

Whenever I have problems with minecraft, I pull out the important things from my .minecraft folder (resource packs I still use, shaders, world saves, etc.) then uninstall and reinstall the game.  For some reason, that game seems to be super finicky.  You could try this, just make sure not to leave anything you'll be sad about losing in the folder before you delete it.

Edit: Possibly unrelated, but better FPS mod was the best thing to ever happen to me in that game.  Only applicable to older versions afaik.

Literally did nothing. Same config, same everything. Yesterday minecraft was running at 80fps (Everything maxed and with BSL shaders). Today it barely reaches 40 on the same map with the same settings. I get the same performance on 8 render distance today as i got on 32 yesterday. No matter what i do my performance is 3x as worse as yesterday for no reason at all. Why is that? (3800X with 8gb of 3600mhz ram allocated). For comparison this is the performance i would get in Cyberpunk 2077 with everything on maximum and ray tracing enabled (Without dlss). No other game is lagging either it's jus mc.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the game worked. Same settings same map same shader 3 times the performande after reinstalling. Wtf.
