Noctua mounting interchangeability

So, I have a NH D-15 mounted on an Intel Haswell Xeon. This is overkill. Massive overkill. It runs at 60c full load, with the fan at idle.

My plan is to have 3 machines, a 5900X, 3900XT, and the Xeon. I have a D-15S on my 3900XT, and it works well enough. I was going to get a less expensive, smaller, more suitable cooler for my Xeon, and transplant the D15S over to my 5900X (assuming they ever come back in stock).

So, simple question: Are the rest of Noctua's coolers intercompatible for mounting hardware, or do the other coolers have different mounting hardware? It would be a massive hassle for me to replace the cooler mounting hardware on the Xeon, since I would have to remove the entire board from the case, and it's an older style case which is an absolute nightmare to work in.

Assuming that it is a regular NH-D15 and you have proof of purchase you should be able to contact Noctua and get the AM4 mounting hardware (NM-AM4)

Follow the information on this page or simply buy the kit from a retailer. If you were to buy another Noctua cooler with the SecuFirm2 mounting hardware you should in theory be able to reuse the mounting hardware that is already installed (and a new Noctua cooler would probably come with the AM4 mounting hardware).

Mine came with the AM4 mounting kit; I bought it like a year ago. So, I just need to make sure the mounting system is the same...

If you buy another Noctua cooler for the Xeon (socket 1150?), then yes the mounting hardware you already have on the motherboard will be reusable.

That's all I was hoping for. :D
