27GN950 vs PG27UK

Hey guys I’m looking to get a new 4K monitor. After some research, I’ve decided on the LG 27GN950. However, the store I want to buy it from has a factory refurbished PG27UK for the same price and with full warranty.

So, if you could get either monitor for the same price, which would you get?

I was still leaning towards the 27GN950 as it’s a 2020 model. But really, I’m unsure as the PG27UK is also a great monitor and usually quite expensive. Input would be greatly appreciated!

Isn't the Asus monitor one of the first 4K 144Hz monitors? These monitors had the problem that they only supported the high refresh rate with chroma subsampling. This problem is no more with monitors like the LG one. But on the other hand the Asus has proper HDR, so i'd probably go for the Asus and turn down the refresh rate to 120Hz to get full chroma HDR gaming.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
