HELP oculus link only working sometimes

the oculus link cabel i have with my quest doesn't work when i am trying to use it with my quest, at first i thought it was a bad cable but its fine when plugged into anything but my pc and quest at the same time. i can plug it into my pc and phone or anything else and thats fine, but it just doesnt work that often when i try to use it with my pc.

it will sometimes work and stop working again when i unplug and plug it back into my quest.

It also isnt a bad quest port because it charges fine when plugged into the wall or anything. 

 

i also tried my other usb c cabels with it and they will work fine, they're just too short for vr.

it just started working again, but itll stop next time i restart my pc or unplug and plug it back in

are you using the included charging cable? i dont recommend using that, use the actual oculus link cable or try to get different long type-c ports that will work with the oculus quest

im using included since i just blew all my money on a new pc, however it works fine with other usb 2.0 cables.
