I currently got ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero on order and will order the 5950x when its back in stock. Right now im looking for 32gig memory kit that will be stable. For me building pc the memory has always been trail and error for stable build. Does anyone know any good kits thats known for a stable build with this motherboard and cpu combo?

yes, I'm just upgrading the Motherboard processor and memory, keeping everything else for now.

this one is slower, and I heard from some reviews it's not stable at times (crashing in games). But most of the reviews are positive!

i would recommend that the RAM have Samsung B dice´s, its has the repotation to be the best

and maybe aura sync for your RGBnes

Yea both listed are B die's but i most likely will get the GSkill ram kit.

Expensive Ram like that is a waste of money imo. You are paying around twice as much as you should be, but you won't see twice the performance.

 

A 3200MHz or 3600MHz CL16 kit will be a lot cheaper, even for RGB. Should be around the $150/$160 mark for a Crucial/G.Skill 32GB kit etc.

I guess it depends on a few things.

 

If you are fine spending the extra amount, and want the maximum possible performance with Ram overclocking then go for it.

 

On the other hand if you are just going to run it with XMP settings then I would suggest a cheaper 3200 - 3600 CL16 kit as mentioned. The money saved can be used for something else, or kept in your wallet for another day.
